Last night was both the first night of Hanukkah and Christmas Eve, so I decided I wanted to have a Hanukkah latke party. So we did, although Morgan, my dad and I were the only actual Jewish people there.

Well, sanders and I ended up in the ER Saturday night for a migraine that had been triggered by Wednesday's root canal and was refusing to die and in fact was increasing in intensity. ( more on that )

My therapist asked me Monday if I was recording all the things I accomplished in a day, because one of the things we keep coming back to is that I feel better when I'm useful and productive, and the more I can accomplish the better I feel, but I feel like I'm getting nothing done lately and I'm so tired it's hard to do anything sometimes. Short version: It went about as well as it could have, and I only had one migraine on Sunday that was kind of not good but I got through the day, and the social time, and then I fell down.

If you missed it, western Washington got hit with a really big windstorm yesterday--it actually formed and moved like a hurricane, and let me tell you there were some fierce winds yesterday. So I had sinus surgery yesterday. I'm more calling it a sinus procedure because really it wasn't surgery; it just involved general anesthesia (which I was really, really okay with; I don't want to be awake when they're vacuuming out my head).
